In my own personal effort to start an organic and live-from-the-land revolution, and to offer to others greener and more reusable and biodegradable choices for diapering their children, The wOOly Owl was born. Keeping it as local as possible, the wOOly Owl reclaimes and upcycles 100% wool materials and uses only organic cotton knits, (minus metal zippers and vintage buttons which takle some time to breakdown).
In my little sewing closet (yes it is a bedroom closet) I create my wOOly creations with so much love and care that I truly believe shows in each item. I am a one-woman-show aspiring to do my part in my community and inspire others to do the same!

wOOly Nesting Pads are ideal for attachment parents who need to protect their mattress until their little owlette sleeps by themselves. Perfectly measured as well to protect your natural crib mattress from unfortunate accidents!
Each are handmade with 100% upcycled wool which breathes, allows for air flow, and can absorb up to 30% of its weight without feeling wet. Your nesting pad is ideal for co-sleeping, as a mattress liner, (placed under the sheets) and even as a safe and comfortable playspot!
Pads will maintain a comfortable temperature in warm and cool weather as wool is a temperature regulating fibre. Wool is water-resistant and therefore acts as a great barrier for light leaking from diapers, drool, spit-up, or breast milk, and is a great sustainable alternative to synthetic fibres.
